Mr Ofoe Caesar, Fanteakwa District Chief Executive (DCE), on Monday said there was no way the National Democratic Congress (NDC) could win the constituency seat.
He said as “the head of the technical bench of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)” in the constituency, he knew exactly what to do to enable the party to retain the seat.
Mr Caesar in an interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Kibi, about the political situation in the area, said he was waiting for the constituency conference of the NPP to elect a parliamentary candidate after which he would give the winner “victory tactics.”
The DCE said he would work hard to increase the 5,000 presidential votes the NPP won in 2004 in the constituency to 10,000 votes in the 2008 Election.
The Fanteakwa constituency seat was won by the NDC in 1992, 1996 and 2000 and the NPP won it in 2004.Source: GNA
