The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has commissioned a secretariat in the Adaklu Constituency of the Volta Region.
The facility would serve as a central point to administer affairs of the opposition party, heading into the 2024 general elections and beyond.
The NDC Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama commissioned the secretariat during day 3 of his #Mahama4Change2024 campaign tour of the Volta Region.
He expressed optimism that the edifice would enhance electioneering activities, which would positively reflect the results of the upcoming elections.
He said the provision of the secretariat confirms the vision of ensuring convenient environments are provided to coordinate party works in all constituencies across the country.
Mr Mahama lauded the initiative and pledged to complement the work of the executives by making available the requisite resources for effective campaign activities.
The Adaklu Member of Parliament, Governs Kwame Agbodza who spearheaded the initiative said the constituency is poised to give the NDC one of the highest votes across the country.
“You can count on the people of Adaklu, percentage, let us see which constituencies' results would be discussed first in 2024, on the evening of December 7.
"We will not call the percentage, but I can guarantee we shall be one of them”, he said.
