The National Youth Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Ludwig Akpene Hlodze, has admonished the youth of the party, particularly delegates, observers and sympathizers attending this weekend’s congress in Sunyani to observe all arrangements so as to make it a very successful one.Speaking from the Sunyani Coronation Park (venue for the Congress), on Wednesday afternoon, Mr Hlodze stated that the youth of the NDC are the biggest stakeholders of the party and that they should exhibit the spirit of commitment, love and believe in the ideals of the party by following due process to achieve the desired goal of electing a flagbearer for the party.“This weekend’s congress is going to be another giant leap towards showcasing the democratic credentials of the ruling party and, we, the youth of the party must ensure that we play our role in securing a resounding victory for the NDC in 2012 and the pursuit of the Better Ghana Agenda,” Ludwig stated. The statement further noted that party faithfuls who do not have accreditation but wish to be at the congress venue would watch proceedings on a giant screen mounted at the Fun Park, away from the congress venue. Such individuals are however advised to make their own accommodation and feeding arrangements. The National Youth Organiser further cautioned that his outfit would not hesitate to hand over to the security agencies any individual or groups purporting to be acting in the interest of the youth wing but whose only objective is to foment trouble at this Congress. The National Youth Organiser used the opportunity to wish travelers a safe journey to congress.Source: NDC Youth Wing
