The National Youth Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ludwig Hlodze, has challenged his colleague youth organizers in other parties to join forces and denounce violence as election 2012 draws close.
According to him, the Ghanaian youth are blindly being led by politicians to achieve what he called the politicians’ selfish inordinate ambitions to the detriment of the future of the country.
He was addressing students at the University of Education, Winneba as part of their SRC week celebration.
Joy FM’s Richard Kojo Nyarko reported that Ludwig called on other youth organisers not to beat war drums but to educate young people about the real essence of politics and elections.
The NDC youth leader reportedly condemned violence that has characterised the ongoing biometric registration exercise and charged the security agencies to deal ruthlessly with people caught in perpetrating violence irrespective of their political affiliations.
