Former Black Stars assistant coach Selas Tetteh will sign a new contract this week with the Ghana Football Association to take over the running of the National under-20 team, the Black Satellites.
The Football Association believes Selas Tetteh’s rich experience from working with four expatriate coaches at the senior level will be useful to the junior teams.
Selas Tetteh’s immediate duties include assembling a team for the under 20 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers later this year.
President of the GFA Kwesi Nyantakyi, who announced the decision, explained that Selas Tetteh’s appointment forms part of his administrative resolve to attach more importance to the junior teams.
