Brain House Consult, a wholly owned Ghanaian start up has launched a website to facilitate road transportation in Ghana.
The website gives information on lorry stations and the fares charged by taxis, local vans (trotros), coaches and airlines.
The website ‘’www.fasttripp.com’’ , aims at filling the vacuum created by the inadequacy of information online to make the movement of travelers stress free.
Information on the website include destinations and terminals of notable transportation brands -- for example STC.
The website also has contacts of hotels, guest houses, pubs, restaurants and bars as well as information about the various tourist sites nationwide.
Also there is an integrated GPRS map system that aides travelers to locate their locations easily.
A co-founder of Brain House Consult, Mr Francis Boye described the building of fasttripp.com as a very challenging project.

The Brain House Consult Team
"Merely telling our fellow software engineers about our intention to create a database which included taxi and trotro stations made us a laughing stock in the industry. Those we recruited to help, left us and abandoned the project after days, but with hard work, dedication and diligence we survived", he recalls.
The Ghanaian start up have also developed another website, www.brainhouserecruitment.com to link employers to employees.
The site creates a pool of CVs and finds the approprate jobs available -- that is it pairs CVs to available jobs.
It also offers a platform for employers to request for staff even on outsourcing basis. All these services can be accessed at absolutely no cost.
Brain House Consult specialises in providing ICT solutions, research work, data gathering and analysis and software engineering. Its operations also includes social advocacy and marketing.
