The newly installed chief of Ayikai Doblo in the GA West Municipal assembly, Nii Amoo Doodu, has promised to embark on a developmental drive to change the face of the area.
With landguardism posing as a major threat to investment and development in the area, Nii Amoo Doodu has also promised to make crime combat, particularly in the area of land ownership one of his immediate priorities as he takes over the reign.
As part of the land reforms, the chief said he'll work closely with the Lands Commission to ensure that the laws are always dollowed to the latter.

"As for the issue of land guards, I know it's of a major concern to us all. But I want to assure you my people that from now till I die, I'll work closely with the bodies mandated by law to manage our lands, to ensure that we get ourselves out of this challenge which has unfortunately rendered our community unattractive to investors," he said.
The upgrade of educational infrastructure and academic development in the Ayikai Doblo area, according to him, will not be relegated to the background.
Nii Amoo Doodu thus encouraged the people of Ayikai Doblo and its environs to remain resolute and support his agenda and initiatives that "will soon take off in their various communities".

The chief who was installed over the weekend after years of vacancy of the Ayikai Doblo stool promised to "be there for the people".
On their part, the people of Ayikai Doblo and communities within Nii Amoo Doodu's jurisdiction promised to support the newly installed chief to take the community to the next level by prioritizing education, sanitation, and crime combat.

The installation ceremony saw the display of colorful Ga culture which traveled two days straight and rounded up at the chief's residence at Doblo in the Ga West Municipality.
