The parade in celebration of Ghana’s 63rd Independence anniversary has kicked off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
This will be the first time the grand celebration is being held in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.
This year’s celebration is under the theme: “Consolidating Our Gains.”
In attendance will be the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Keith Rowley, President Akufo-Addo, former heads of state and statesmen among others.
