Ghana's Black Meteors left their hopes of playing at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in the balance after they were held to a goalless game by their Nigerian counterparts at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Friday.
Ghana still leads the group with seven points, however with Nigeria at five points and with a game on hand against South Africa's Amagluglug in Nigeria, the chance for the Meteors is as good as squandered.
Joy Sports commentators counted no less than six glorious goal opportunities that came the way of the Meteors but which were all blown.
The Dream Team, as the Nigerian side is known, played competitively and squandered a good number of chances of their own.
