New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives in the three Northern regions have endorsed the candidature of Kwabena Agyapong, as aspiring General Secretary of the party.
According to the party executives in the Upper East, Upper West and Northern regions, they believe Mr. Agyapong is the right person to project the party's image ahead of the 2016 general elections.
The delegates testified of his [Agyapong] loyalty to the party and how he has been able to work with all the leaders of the party since 1992, noting that he has the key to unify the party.
The overwhelming endorsement of Kwabena Agyapong during an interaction with the delegates in the three Northern regions confirmed his zeal and desire to serve the party with a clear conscience, pure motives and a solid character premised on competence, compassion, commitment and courage.
The former presidential spokesperson thrilled by the endorsement called on members of the party to remain united and focus on the 2016 elections.
Addressing delegates in all the 57 constituencies in the Upper West, Upper East and Northern regions to climax his tour, Kwabena Agyepong assured them of his desire to work closely with them to reclaim the North as, "it has been the bed rock of our foundation".
The Kwabena 4GS team took time to assess the state of the party in each constituency he visited and to know at firsthand, the challenges facing the party and how collectively, it can be solved to ensure a resounding victory for the NPP come 2016.
Kwabena Agyepong called on traditional authorities, youth groups and opinion leaders in all the areas he visited. The team continues their nationwide tour to the Volta Region to meet-up with party sympathizers.
