The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will host a conference of the Democrat Union of Africa (DUA), from January 4th to 5th on the theme; "Women Parliamentarians of Africa Tackling HIV/AIDS"
The Conference, the third in the series by the NPP, is to explore ways of consolidating Multi-Party Democracy and strengthen the internal capacities of the political parties, a statement signed by Nana Ohene Ntow, the Party's General Secretary said.
Leading members of political parties in Africa and senior members of the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom (UK) would be in attendance.
Democratic Union of Africa (DUA) is a Union of centre and centre-right political parties in Africa. It aims at developing an ideological consensus among representatives of the political parties and also offers a forum in which African political parties of like mind can support each other.Source: GNA
