President John Mahama has described the NPP’s promise of building 350 senior high schools across the country as yet another deceitful promise Ghanaians should reject outright.According to the President, the promise from Nana Akufo-Addo is a ploy to woo Ghanaians for their votes.Addressing a rally at Prestea Huni Valley in the Western Region, President Mahama said Ghanaians are more discerning to buy into promises like this which the NPP cannot fulfill. The President has therefore challenged Nana Akufo-Addo to show Ghanaians where in their manifesto this promise can be found. He believes it is a hasty after thought meant to counter the NDC’s promise of building 200 senior high schools across the country.Joy News’ presidential Correspondence, Seth Kwame Boateng said at Asankragua in the Amenfi West constituency, President Mahama restated his education plans, explaining that the NDC’s policy on education is feasible and better than that of the NPP.He therefore asked them to vote massively for the NDC to maintain the party in power so that it will continue better Ghana agenda.Chiefs of the area applauded the government for fulfilling most of the promises former President Atta Mills made to them, and were therefore confident the president will fulfill his promises to them.
