The Ministry for Sports and Recreation, through the National Sports Authority has temporarily suspended usage of its e-ticketing platform for match ticket sales.
The decision means, fans attending the 2026 World Cup Qualifier between Ghana and Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium, will have to purchase printed tickets at the gates.
Ghana first used a fully electronic platform for ticket sales in 2022 when the Black Stars faced Nigeria in World Cup play off match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
However, the system has not improved over the years, with repeated cases of the systems failure to verify tickets purchased from the electronic platform, internet connectivity, among others.
The NSA is yet to announce designated points where fans can purchase tickets for the match.
Ghana are scheduled to host Chad on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 7 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ticket Prices for Ghana vs. Chad at Accra Sports Stadium:
- VVIP – GH₵200
- VIP – GH₵150
- Lower VIP – GH₵100
- Osu Stand – GH₵20
- Popular Stand – GH₵10
