Football administrator, Vincent Sowah Odotei says Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwasi Nyantakyi must cut short celebrations over his election to the CAF Executive Committee and focus on the domestic game.
He said the GFA needed to provide leadership and direction to develop the local league.
Newly-elected CAF Executive Committee member, Kwasi Nyantakyi himself said Ghana is likely to benefit from his new position through decision making at the continental body.
Kwasi Nyantakyi arrived in Accra from Sudan last Saturday to a heroes’ welcome.
He said though he may not be able to turn things all of a sudden in favour of Ghana, the country certainly has a voice on the continental body.
