The Life Patron of the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Dr. Obed Yao Asamoah has said that by electing Prof. John Atta Mills as the presidential candidate, the National Democratic Congress as a party failed to select a winnable candidate for the December Elections.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Dr. Obed Asamoah said Prof. Mills can never win an election and subsequently become president of this country because, Prof. Mills has no message to convince the people of this country to vote for him.
According to him, when he was a member of the NDC, he advised the party executives against putting Prof. Mills up as the candidate because he cannot win an election in this country.
He added that his view of Mills’ chances was not borne out of hatred for Professor Mills and the NDC and intimated that Professor Mills was his law student in the university and was nice to him.
