The Chief Executive Officer of relegated Kumasi-based King Faisal babes, Vincent Sowah Odotei has said that he will stay away from the electoral process at the Ghana Football Association congress in Prampram on Friday.
Mr. Odotei who was disqualified from running for the GFA presidency due to his inability to meet the requirements of Article 28.2 of the GFA Statutes, told Asempa sports on Monday that, he will abstain from voting since the candidate running for the presidency has been declared unopposed.
According to him, there is no need for congress to vote and insisted, he will not take part in the elections.
The Ghana Football Association congress members are due to meet this Friday at the Ghanaman Soccer Excellence at Prampram, to decide on who leads the Football Association for the next four years.
Incumbent President Kwesi Nyantakyi who is seeking a second term in office as an unopposed candidate, will be presented to congress to either endorse or reject him, as the Ghana Football Association President.
