The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency has extended its condolences to the Ghana Police Service in Akyemansa and the families of two officers who died in the line of duty.
The deceased, General Lance Corporal Anti Isaac and General Constable Thomas Alornyo, were described as committed officers who served the Akyemansa District with dedication and professionalism.
During a visit to the district police command, Constituency Chairman Emmanuel Obeng said the loss had deeply affected residents.
The Member of Parliament for the area, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, had earlier paid tribute to the officers, praising their loyalty and sacrifice to both the district and the nation. He urged the public to appreciate the work of security personnel who risk their lives to maintain peace and order.
The party also used the occasion to highlight the importance of road safety, calling on motorists and other road users to adhere strictly to traffic regulations in order to prevent avoidable accidents.
District Police Commander, DSP Kyei Sarpong, assured the delegation that despite the tragic loss, the command remains committed to maintaining law and order in the constituency.
