The Paramount Chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, has honoured sons and daughters of the area for helping develop the city.
The awards dubbed, “The Osabarima Royal Awards” is an awards scheme by the Oguaa Traditional Council and Ridge Royal Hotel to reward businesses and individuals from Cape Coast who have contributed to the growth and sustainability of Oguaaman!

The maiden edition of the award was held at the Ridge Royal Hotel in Cape Coast. Joynews' Central Regional Correspondent, Richard Kwadwo Nyarko was adjudged, 'The Most outstanding Media Personality in Cape Coast.'
