How do you feel when you see beggars? Do you feel sorry for them? Do you curse them? Do you show love?

Imagine a show that has drama, well-choreographed dance, poetry, and comedy all stringed together to tell a story with precision. I present “The Versatile Show”!!!

I created the ‘’Versatile Show’’ in 2012 with the help of Uncle Ebo Whyte on drama and Prof Nii Yatey of Noyam Dance Institute. The vision is to improve my stage crafts and increase my patrons’ satisfaction by giving them more value for their attention.

The versatile show this year is called ‘’THE BEGGARS’’.  It’s a satiric play that portrays how the Ghanaian society looks down on beggars yet depends on foreign aid to survive.

From this angle, we bring to you the five “Ps’’; the Politician, the Pimp, the Police, the Pastor and the Prostitute.  A story is told from the points of view of two beggars who are looking at these five characters.

The show stars myself (Okyeame Kwame), Adjetey Anang, Ecow Smith Asante, Wanlov the Kubolor, Benjamin Kwadey, Adina, Samini,  Keche, Obrempong (De Royal Entertainer), Pearl, Bradez, Edem, EL, Praye Eugene (Choir Master), Prof. Von Cujovi, Yasmeen and many of my friends in the music industry.

So I invite to enjoy the full story on the 8th November at the National Theatre; showing twice: 4 pm – 6 pm and 8 pm – 10 pm.

The production cost of a 60 member crew is very expensive but I believe that a hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc100) is a fair charge to see this show.

I know that most of my readers are scattered all around the world but for those in Ghana, TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE at Koala, Baatsona Total, Airport Shell, Peacefm, Citi fm, Silverbird, Frankies, all University Campuses in Accra and Tema Shell Fuel Station.

The Versatile Show……Magic in the Air!!!
