Bottom placed club, Accra Great Olympics on Saturday put up a splendid performance to hold Gamba All Blacks to a goalless draw in their 22nd week clash of the Onetouch Premier League at Swedru Sports Stadium.
All Blacks started very well but ended the match as if there was nothing at stake.
Thomas Yebaoh of All Blacks could not find the net when he beat an offside trap set up by Great Olympics in the 32nd minute.
In the 36th minute, Paul Appiah of All Blacks also came close to scoring after beating an Olympics defender in their vital area but his shot went wide off target.
Paa Joe Kumah of Olympics nearly scored a goal for his side on 44 minutes but he shot straight into the waiting hands of goalkeeper Ransford Cudjoe from a good position.
In the second half, Olympics who were determined to hold All Blacks at their own backyard came up strongly with their midfield marshalled around Micahel Ocansey, Kumah and Billal Mohamed to stop All Blacks forays upfront.
All Blacks exhausted their substitutions in their quest to beef up their front but they never got a goal until referee Patrick Aziza of Tema brought proceedings to an end
After the match, supporters of All Blacks went on rampage calling for the head of coach Herbert Addo whom they accused of changing the side that played against Heart of Lions in midweek at Kpando.
Addo was heavily escorted by the police and All Blacks officials into the dressing room.Source: GNA
