OmniBank has signed a partnership agreement to provide total banking solutions to Intercity State Transport Corporation (ISTC).
The partnership is expected to boost the transport company’s business to regain its dominance in the long-distance travel industry.
One of the key elements of the agreement is the establishment of onsite cash collection centres at designated ISTC terminals.
Signing the agreement on behalf of ISTC, the Managing Director, Nana Akomea commended OmniBank for the initiative and noted that “the mandate was given to OmniBank with the assurance that cash generated in the terminals will be safe and also help the corporation concentrate on other operations.”
According to him, OmniBank was considered for this role because “they have shown us a certain diligence and interest in STC’s operations which we haven’t found in many banks”.
Appreciating management of STC for giving the Bank the opportunity to roll this service, the Managing Director of OmniBank, Mr. Philip Oti-Mensah stated that “the bank will live up to its mantra of exceptional service and deliver to make sure both parties succeed”.
Onsite cash collections is one of the services provided by the bank to run cashiering services for its corporate clients at their premises for convenience and safety.
