The 2020 parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party in the Suaman constituency in the Western North Region has called on members of the party to be united despite the upcoming primaries.
Frederick Addy made this plea when he picked and filed his nomination forms to contest in the NPP parliamentary primaries to represent the party in the 2024 election.
The filing of the nomination forms brought together many of the party members, friends, and supporters who jubilated during fanfare that was held after the process of filing his nomination was completed.
In an interview, Mr Addy acknowledged that it is only unity that can win them the Suaman seat.
He urged the party to be united and forgive each other to avert the situation that caused their unpardonable defeat in the 2020 elections.
He was optimistic that with unity the NPP will win the parliamentary seat for the first in history.
The politician further asked the party supporters to avoid tribal politics and insults and work to prove to the delegates why he deceives to lead the party and win the parliamentary seat for the NPP.
