In a statement issued by the presidency on Thursday, July 11, and signed by Communications Director Eugene Arhin, it said Dr Prempeh's resignation will take effect from Thursday, July 18.
The statement also noted that President Akufo-Addo has accepted his resignation and expressed his gratitude for his dedication and service to the government.
