The annual Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) which is conducted nationwide has come to a successful end.
In the Oti region, a total of 10,248 students were recorded to have taken the test. Out of the number, 4,164 are girls and 5, 634 boys.
In an interaction with some of the students in the just ended exams, some of the students were satisfied with how the exam went, while others blamed Covid-19 for affecting their preparations.
The results of the examination will be released in August to enable successful and qualified candidates enter Senior High Schools and Technical Institutes at the beginning of the academic year.
The results will be sent to the participating schools, whilst candidates will receive a statement of their results through their respective school.
Candidates will be able to check their results online with an access card at www.waecgh.org after the results are released.
