The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has revealed that its newly appointed Assistant Coach, Otto Addo, will be a service provider.

According to the GFA Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, the Borussia Dortmund, scout is yet to be released for Black Stars duties fully and will only be working part-time.

Speaking to Emefa Apawu on JoyNews' Probe on Sunday, he said the Association does not have the permission of Black Stars Assistant Coaches to make their working conditions public.

"What I know is that Otto will be working as a service provider at least for now, unfortunately, because having sought permission from his club, Borussia Dortmund, they felt they cannot release him."

"It will take time for him to come and work for us fully. So for now Otto will be doing pay-as-you-go. He comes to work during the international breaks and then goes back," he explained.

The GFA at a recent press conference announced the Ghanaian duo, Maxwell Konadu and Otto Addo as assistants to newly appointed Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac.

This followed the dismissal of C. K. Akonnor as head coach.

Mr Asante Twum also said that the GFA only recommended the two deputies to the Serbian and he accepted it due to their vast experience both on the local and international front.

He further added that Mr Otto Addo will, in the absence of a team scout, keep his eyes on getting Ghanaian players making inroads abroad for the Black Stars.
