Over 15 people have been left with injuries after three cars were involved in an accident at the Gomoa Okyereko Junction on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway.
Speaking to Adom News, an eyewitness, Caezer Clement, said the driver of one of the vehicles attempted to overtake the others in front of him.
However, the driver, unfortunately, rammed into the cars travelling in the opposite direction, he said.

According to the Dominase District Police Commander, DSP David Osei Fofie, the crash involved a Toyota Haice, GT 273-21, with 15 participants.
The other cars were a Renault car, AS 286-S, carrying three Apam Senior High School (SHS) students and a Toyota Vits, GW 8108-21, travelling from Takoradi to Nkawkaw.

The Toyota commercial car somersaulted and the rescue team had to turn the car before rescuing the trapped victims, eyewitnesses account said.
According to reports, SHS students, their parents and over 10 more persons are in critical condition.

All injured persons have been transported to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital where they are responding to treatment.

No death has been recorded.
DSP Fofie diagnosed that had all drivers been travelling in their lane, the early morning bloody clash could have been averted.
