The Pan African Heritage World Museum (PAHWM) has received a significant boost following the donation of a brand-new Suzuki S-Presso vehicle from the Svani Group.

The vehicle, presented to support the operations of the Museum’s Secretariat, was officially handed over during a brief ceremony held on the campus of the African University College of Communications (AUCC) in Accra.

Mr. Thomas Svanikier, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Svani Group, who made the donation highlighted the importance of the vehicle for administrative tasks and improved mobility for project coordination.

He praised Prof. Kojo Yankah, Founder and Chairman of PAHWM for his inspirational work in arts and culture, as well as in the technology and information space.

“I am very convinced that Prof. Yankah is making an impact with the Museum and our donation here is in recognition and appreciation of his vision and for all that he does for African heritage,” said Mr. Svanikier.

He further urged Ghana’s private sector to support visionary national initiatives that preserve cultural identity and drive sustainable development.

“When the private sector thrives, we should seek ways to give back to ventures in the country like Non-Governmental Organisation (NGOs) that are making a difference in the society” he added.

The Pan African Heritage World Museum project is a world-class cultural and heritage tourism destination to be constructed at Pomadze Hills, near Winneba.

The museum, upon completion, will showcase curated exhibitions highlighting Africa’s various civilisations, intellectual achievements, resistance movements, artistic expressions, and contributions to global development.

It will also provide immersive learning spaces designed to inspire pride, identity, and renewed consciousness among people of African descent and international visitors alike.

Beyond its cultural mandate, the Museum is envisioned as a catalyst for economic development, with the potential to stimulate heritage tourism, create employment opportunities and support local enterprises in and around Winneba in the Central Region.

Currently, the Secretariat is undertaking a fundraising campaign towards the construction of the Museum and the Svani Group’s donation is a very welcomed contribution.

Receiving the kind donation, Prof. Kojo Yankah expressed deep gratitude for the donation and pledged continued dedication to the museum’s mission.

“We are building not just a museum, but a legacy. Today’s generous donation brings us one step closer to ensuring that Ghana’s rich tapestry of history and culture is honoured and shared widely” he noted.

The Museum’s leadership reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability and excellence in delivering a world-class facility that will serve generations to come, and indicated that with sustained collaboration and national support, PAHWM is poised to become a landmark institution that celebrates Africa’s story, strengthens cultural identity and contributes meaningfully to Ghana’s socio-economic development.
