The Media Attache to Team Ghana, Benjamin Willie Graham, is confident the country is capable of bringing home a medal in the men's 4x100m event at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The event is one of six events Team Ghana will be competing for in Paris when the competition gets underway.
Ghana competed in the last edition of the event at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo where the team suffered disqualification for a changeover violation.
Ghana heads into this year's Olympics ranked in 10th position globally and Willie Graham is confident the team could fight for a medal in Paris.
"When it comes to the 4x100m, Ghana is ranked 10th among the top teams...so being in the medal zone is something that we can," he said on Joy Sports Link.
"If the quartet are ranked 10th in the world going into the Olympic Games, nothing stops us from getting into the medal zone."

Ghana's athletes have been training in Strasbourg as part of preparations for the competition and will later leave for Paris on Saturday, July 20.
