The National Democratic Congress' parliamentary candidate for the Manso Adubia constituency in the Ashanti Region, Simon Kwaku Adjei says he would donate his salary to the development of Manso Adubia and to boost farming in the constituency if voted into power.
He also promised to support every farmer with cutlasses for farming and fertilizers every year and with sack sprayers for their farms since Manso is predominantly a farming community.
"If I win the election, I will divide my salary into two, one for the development of Manso Adubia and the other half for farmers," he said.
The Parliamentarian who runs on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress reiterated the NDC's promise of improving Manso Adubia's road network under the leadership of former President Mahama.
"Vote for me. If I become the MP, I know how to bring development into this constituency. All our roads are in bad shapes and part of my development agenda is to fix them, Mahama has promised to give Manso its fair share of development because he has done it before".
He urged the residents to vote the NDC back into power in order to receive their share of the national cake.
