Reverend K. K. Sarpong, Pastor in charge of Achiase Freeman Methodist Church in the Atwima-Nwabiagya district of the Ashanti Region has urged Christians to use their intellects to win souls for Christ.
Rev. Sarpong was speaking at the inauguration of the Achiase Freeman Methodist Men's Fellowship at Achiase on Sunday.
He said Christians should help the poor and marginalized in fulfilment of God's Commandment.
Rev Sarpong advised the new leadership to support the Church in its activities. "As men, we should accept responsibilities of the Church and by this, God will help us to overcome all problems," he added.
Mr E.W.H. Abaidoo, a former National Secretary, who deputized for the national chairman of the Fellowship reminded the members that the fellowship was not a lodge but were the soldiers of Christ.
Mr George Omane, a former chairman of Kumasi Diocesan fellowship advised the executives to cooperate with their members and also take part in church activities and programmes.
An appeal for funds yielded seven million cedis (700 Ghana Cedis).
