The Right Reverend john Harvey-Ewusi, Bishop of the Sekondi Diocese of the Methodist Church, has said peace was a vital ingredient that needed to be sustained at all times.
He said without it no nation could develop its full potentials and transform the lives of its people.
Bishop Harvey-Ewusi was preaching on the theme “Peace” at the Bethel Methodist Church in Takoradi on Christmas day.
He said Jesus was the source of peace and every one must tap this peace to bring transformation, liberation,
Rt Rev. Harvey-Ewusi said to fully enjoy the peace of Christ everyone must abandon ungodly living, live self-controlled lives and upright lives in public and in private.
At the Essiaksu Methodist Church, the Very Rev. Joseph I. Buabeng, the Superintendent Minister, urged all Christians to seek peace as they remember the birth of Christ.
He urged them to let that peace be with them as they go to the polling centre to elect a leader for the nation.
Rev. Buabeng said God had already elected a leader but it is for the people to go to the polls to let the leader be known to the world.
