A new 120-gram pack size of Pepsodent has been launched, giving consumers more choices when considering the product pack that best suits their oral care needs.
The introduction of the new Pepsodent 120g pack offers flexibility and convenience at the point of purchase.
The new 120g pack contains the same cavity-fighting formula that provides maximum cavity protection and gives 10 times stronger teeth.
It is filled with pro-fluoride complex and active micro calcium that has made Pepsodent the toothpaste brand of choice in Ghana and a family favourite for decades.
The introduction of this new pack size brings to four the available pack sizes in the market: Pepsodent Cavity Fighter 12g, Pepsodent Cavity Fighter 65g, Pepsodent Cavity Fighter 120g, and Pepsodent Cavity Fighter 175g.
Elvis Twumasi, Brand Manager of Pepsodent, explained how the new pack size means that there is now a Pepsodent pack available for everyone, irrespective of income level.
“Our goal is to bridge the gap between Pepsodent 65g and 175g. This pack size will help meet the needs of consumers who would want to purchase a bigger pack but can’t afford the 175g pack size at that moment in time. By this, we are committed to living our mantra that every smile matters.”
While sharing the benefits of the product and pack size, Mr Twumasi also highlighted that dental care is ultimately the responsibility of the consumer.
"We know that Pepsodent if used properly, is the perfect partner in preventing cavities and gum disease. This is dependent on brushing twice a day, but also flossing regularly and visiting a dentist at least once every six months.”
In addition to making toothpaste more accessible with the launch of this new 120g pack size, Pepsodent has this year made all aspects of oral care a priority, by partnering with the Ghana Dental Association in making teledentistry a priority area, so that everyone can have one-on-one consultation with a dentist.
For these great initiatives, Pepsodent was recognised as the FMCG Innovative Initiative of the Year for the DigiDentist Campaign and also named the Oral Care Brand of the Year at the recent FMCG Awards held on 19th May 19.
