Ghanaian gospel artiste, Perez Musik, has released his first major single for the year.
The single titled ‘The Light’ which was recorded during Perez’s ‘Glorified’ concert in August 2022, features MOGMusic.
‘The Light’ was inspired by the wonders of God described in Exodus 13:21: “And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night.”
It serves as an anthem to remind listeners to depend on the Lord as their guide in all aspects of life.
Perez Musik (real name Frank Tagoe) is a Ghanaian gospel artist, songwriter, producer, film maker, founder and lead minister of The Rhema City of Worship (a Christian youth ministry which focuses on creatives).
Perez Musik is gradually carving a niche for himself as a must-hear gospel artiste of our time. Filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, his ministry is touching and blessing many lives.
He recounts a testimony on how God rescued him from depression that almost lead to his death, and giving his life to Christ after been saved and consequently being drawn to the things of God particular church music thereafter.
He has been nominated in 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for the Gospel Artiste of the Year, Male Vocal Performance and Record of the Year categories.
He has songs like ‘Blema Tesa,’ ‘Hewale Lala’, ‘Fresh Fire’, ‘Ayeyi Nwom’, among others.
