Pepertua was born to Joseph Kodzo Adigbo and Mrs Agnes Amawayo Adigbo (both of blessed memory) and started schooling at the Holy Family Catholic School in Mataheko. She continued later at the St. Mary’s Elementary School, Korle Gorno, also in Accra.
She was very intelligent and brilliant and it was no surprise that she passed the Common Entrance Examination, obtaining a full scholarship to continue her education at the Holy Child Secondary School, at Cape Coast in September 1963 .She was confirmed on 10th June 1967.
At Holy Child, she passed her ‘O’ Level examinations in June 1968 and continued her sixth form education at the Aburi Girls Secondary School in the same year and in June 1970 obtained her ‘A’ Level Certificate.
Tertiary Education
Desirous of being a Chartered Accountant, Pep enrolled at the then Institute of Professional Studies (now University of Professional Studies) as one of the pioneering students in September 1971 to study Accountancy. In June 1973, she excelled in the Intermediate examinations of the Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA ).
Perpetua obtained a Government of Ghana scholarship and in June 1975 proceeded to the United Kingdom and undertook further training in Accountancy at the Redditch College of Education and the West Bromwich College of Education. She passed her final exams of the ACCA in June 1978. Having completed her practical training, she was admitted as an Associate Member of the ACCA in1982 and five years later in 1987, A full Fellow of the ACCA. (FCCA)
Working Life
In 1981, Perpetua returned to Ghana with her husband and took her first appointment as Chartered Accountant with the then Tema Food Complex Corporation where she diligently discharged her duties in various positions as Chief Internal Auditor (1982-1985) and General Manager -Finance (1985-1987).
Pepertua during the years 1990-1996 took time off from public life and formed her own company-PPD Agencies which she operated successfully.
In 1996, she was persuaded to take a position with ABC Breweries as Chief Internal Auditor and later in the same year due to internal reorganisation was appointed General Manager-Commercial, a position she performed creditably till 1998 when Guinness Ghana Limited acquired ABC Breweries.
Pepertua retired from active public service in 1998 after the Guinness takeover of ABC Breweries and re-registered her private business under the trade name of WOG Agencies Limited. A company she operated till her final retirement in 2016.
Perpetua was appointed a Board Member of the following institutions between the years 2001 - 2013.
Asempa Publishers-Christian Council of Ghana November 2001 to June 2017, GHAMA Film Company June 2009 - December 2011, Ghana Revenue Authority December 2010-October 2013 (also as Chairperson of Board Finance and Audit Sub-committee) and Electricity Company of Ghana February 2012 to September 2013 (Board Chairperson).

Marriage/Family
Perpetua was married to Kwabena Dankyi Darfoor and they were blessed with four children.
Christian Life
Perpetua was baptized into the Catholic faith at infancy and was a devout Christian. In 1990 she fellowshipped with her husband at the Love Tabernacle of Christ Love Crusaders (Love T), a Charismatic church at Tema and later in 2005 joined the Pure Fire Ministries at Kissieman where she worshipped until her demise.
Perpetua took great interest in supporting, materially and with her resources in the growth of the churches she worshipped at. She never relented in her obligations towards the churches and the work of God.
To us, her life on this earth was short and but we can also say it was useful, fulfilling and fruitful. In this seemingly short period, Perpetua touched many lives with her generosity, counselling and devotion to seeing to the improvement of lives for many whom she encountered.
Her Passing on
Perpetua was taken ill on 21st July 2021 and just when there was hope of her recovery, she passed on peacefully at dawn on 22nd August 2021.
