One of the boldest statements made by a unique clique within in the National Democratic Congress was that their arch political rival and NPP presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo, can never be president.
NDC Deputy General Secretary Koku Anyhidoho was one of them.
But results of the 2016 elections were much bolder than these bold declarations. For the NPP run away with historic wins and a historic gap of about 9%.
And so when the NPP held its Delegates Conference last week Saturday, all the seeming acrimony between the leaders of these two parties seemingly vanished.
Comradeship was evident. And Koku Anyhidoho walked over, and took a bow to shake the hands of the man he predicted will never be president.
