The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama on Tuesday introduced his running mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman to the clergy.
This was at a ceremony at the Headquarters of the Assemblies of God Church in Accra.
The program which was attended by some of the party’s national and regional executives was witnessed by pastors from various churches across the country.
Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the National Chairman of the party, Mr Ade Coker, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Sylvester Mensah, Madam Sherry Ayittey and MP for Klotey Korley Dr Zanetor Rawlings.
In his welcome address, the President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) and General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso advised the NDC flag bearer and his running mate to avoid politics of insult and name-calling and rather present a clear message to the electorate.
