The 2019 edition of the Ave Maria Nursery School, at Dansoman SNNIT Flats, has been held with a call on teachers to adopt the use of modern technology to educate children in the early childhood development centers.
This, according to educationist, Comfort Tandoh, will help advance their learning process.
Speaking on the theme “Promoting Early Childhood Education in this Fast Growing Technological Era” Madam Tandoh noted that, preschool helps children to find answers to their problems through experiments. It also helps children to develop physically and gain the confidence to further prepare the foundation for learning.
The essence of using technology to teach kids at early childhood development level, is to give the children the opportunity to explore, she added.
In her address the Headmistress of the school, Mrs Martha Owusu-Frempong gave assurance that the school management has provided quality teaching aids to shape the pupils.
She told parents that adequate security measures have also been put in place to ensure the safety of their wards.
