The 28th edition of the Accra Milo Marathon was held on September 21, 2015 in the national capital, Accra, holding spectators spellbound in ecstasy.
The country’s biggest annual athletic event which started from Nungua, a suburb of Accra, and ended at the Carl Reindoff Park in Dansoman was won by Kassim Mohmmed from the Ghana Armed Forces .
While the women’s category was won by Lariba Sakat of the Upper East Region ahead of the former champion Millicent Boadi.
David Otoo, a 14-year old of the Bremang J.H.S, won the boys’ Under-15 with Nafisatu Sumani of the Brong Ahafo Region emerging champion of the girls’ division.
They received cash prizes and products from the headline sponsors Nestle Ghana Limited.
The event was witnesed by the Greater Accra Regional Minister Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo and Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mustapha Ahmed .
