People from all walks of life converged at the Independence Square in Accra to celebrate the country’s independence anniversary with a colorful parade which featured the security agencies and school children.
President John Dramani Mahama, his Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur, former president Rawlings, and his wife Nana Konadu , Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Inspector General of Police, and others witnessed the parade.
