Father's Day is being celebrated globally.
The day is set aside to honour fatherhood and paternal bonds.
This year's occasion fell on Sunday, June 19.
Joy FM, the station for the discerning listener, celebrated some Ghanaian fathers in a unique way. The selected dads were hosted by the Group Chairman of McDan Group of Companies, Dr. Daniel McKorley.
This formed part of the The Real Daddy Code Hangout spearheaded by Joy FM and Joy Prime.
The real daddy code says "Be Daddy, be Present." The objective of the campaign was to celebrate fathers who are present and guiding their children through all their developmental stages.
Musician A plus and all your favourite Joy personalities; Kojo Yankson, Winston Amoah, Lexis Bill, Fifi Folson, Israel Laryea, George Quaye and winners of the competition, among others were present.
Other renowned daddies present at the hangout were; CEO of Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors, Senyo Hosi and CEO of Trust Consult, Charles Mensah.
The programme was to allow these powerful personalities who are also fathers to share their unique daddy code as well as impart knowledge to other fathers.
The various Joy FM Daddies and winners of the Daddy's code competition took turns to engage Dr. Daniel Mckorley, Senyo Hosi and Charles Mensah on how to manage their finances and other pertinent issues.
