A heavy rainfall in the night of Tuesday, August 5, and the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2025, has left sections of the famous Nsawam-Pokuase Road severely flooded, rendering parts of the highway nearly impassable.
The early morning commute on Wednesday was characterised by chaos, as floodwaters engulfed large portions of the road, compounding traffic and leaving several vehicles submerged.
Stranded commuters and frustrated drivers were forced to wade through stagnant water, with some cars seen partially sunk or billowing vapour due to engine overheating.
These are photos by Channel One TV on Wednesday, August 6.
