A vigil in honour of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings was held at the Armed Forces Officers Mess in Burma Camp, Accra.
The event was graced by the family of the late former statesman including his wife Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings and his children Zanetor, Amina, Yaa Asantewaa, and Kimathi.
It was also characterized by performances from notable musicians including Adina.
The former President will be laid in state on Monday, January 25, and Tuesday, January 26, at the Accra International Conference Centre for various interest groups and members of the public to have an opportunity to pay their last respects.
