The Ministry of Information held a press briefing to inform Ghanaians on steps the government is taking to address the issue of housing deficit.
Sector Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, moderated the interraction with the press.
The Minister for Works and Housing, Francis Asenso-Boakye, touched on a National Housing Authority, he mentioned early this year and steps put in place to resolve the issue of flooding.
Meanwhile, reports from the Minister reveal that 60% of Ghanaians will need government support in the form of subsidies to acquire their own houses.
