Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta says Ghana should expect an International Monetary Fund (IMF) Board approval for a programme by the close of May 2023.
Earlier this week, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) doubled down on its plea to wealthier nations to support Ghana and other weaker economies to help such countries extricate themselves from the shackles of debt.
There were also threats and a spate of intemperate language by political actors in regard to the 2024 general elections.
