The police in Ashanti Region have arrested four suspected armed robbers involved in a series of crimes in the region, including the robbery and killing of road engineer, Emmanuel Owusu Antwi.
The suspects are Mustapha Adams, 37, Ibrahim Adamu, 39, Seidu Bona alias Lion, 33 and Mohammed Abubakar, 33.
The regional Police PRO explained that the suspects are assisting the police with investigations.
A victim of the robbery gang is a senior road engineer with Joshobs Construction limited, working on the Ahwiankwanta-Obuasi road.
Emmanuel Owusu Antwi was shot in the head by the suspected armed robbers at Buokrom in the Ashanti Region while returning home from work.
Police investigations have also revealed the suspects are behind the robbery of the MCE for Asokore Mampong, among many others.
