The Police have arrested one person in connection with the murder of businessman Bennet Adomah Agyekum, owner of the famous restaurant Kikibees, in the Greater Accra Region.
In a press release on Monday, the police noted that the suspect Yandeh Joof is believed to be the girlfriend of the late Mr Agyekum.
Providing some details surrounding the restaurant owner’s death, the law enforcement agency revealed that the deceased was found lying in a pool of blood at a house in Madina on Sunday, October 8.
He was rushed to the hospital for medical attention but unfortunately, was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy while the investigation continues.
The police added that the suspect is also assisting in investigations.
Meanwhile, a video Mr Agyekum shared on social media, dancing to a Stonebwoy song, hours before he was shot has gone viral.
"Just imagine saying if God na Man by now them don order execution order for onna! Jehovah bu Eze [sic]," he had captioned the video.
