The Out Patient and Emergency Departments of the Police Hospital will be closed to the public from Friday December 19 to Sunday December 21, 2014.
Other departments like the Accidents and Pediatrics Department will also be closed to the public.
The move is to enable the hospital’s administration to carry out a fumigation exercise on the departments.
Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service, ASP Juliana Obeng, in a statement copied to Joy News said “this exercise is in line with our aim and passion to provide and deliver better quality health services to our clients before, during and after the Christmas holidays.”
The hospital is asking that all cases that will require the services of the departments mentioned above to be referred to other health centres.
Activities at the departments will be re-opened to the public on Monday December 22, 2014.
