Police are searching for five men suspected to be plotting to kill Weija MP, Shirley Ayokor Botchway.
Sometime this week, the five were reported to be hatching the assassination plot at a drinking spot at Mile 7 in Accra.
Highly placed police sources confirmed the information to Joy News but would not go on record.
Joy News sources say the owner of the spot eavesdropped on the conversation and exposed the suspects.
Unfortunately, the men fled the spot. A report was subsequently made to police at Mile 7.
The sources tell Joy News the Tesano police are not leaving anything to chance in handling this matter.
