One of the six activists of the New Patriotic Party in the Tain constituency of the Brong Ahafo Region arrested last Saturday for her alleged involvement in violence has been granted bail.
Amina Adams, who is the party’s Tain Constituency Treasurer was considered on medical grounds.
Brong Ahafo regional chairman of the NPP, Asomah Cheremeh told Joy News attempts to secure bail for the rest including the party’s Parliamentary candidate, Ofori Amanfo have so far been unsuccessful.
The six are under investigations for their involvement in clashes between NDC and NPP supporters at a biometric registration center at Sabieh, a village near Nsorkor.

He said the stipulated 48 hours by a which a suspect can be kept in police custody are up and his colleagues must be released.
