PopOut, a digital marketing and technology company, in partnership with Myjoyonline and Joy 99.7 FM is organizing a forum, "Social Media for Business Executives", on Wednesday, 26 November, 2014 at the Alisa Hotel, North Ridge Accra from 10am to 4:00pm.
This event seeks to bring together Business Managers, CEOs, Digital or Online Managers, Creative Managers and Entrepreneurs from various business sectors to learn practical and creative ways to use various social media platforms to position their businesses online and also engage their customers effectively.
According to Maximus Ametorgoh, the managing director of PopOut, “this workshop is one of the many workshops we organize every year to keep businesses abreast with the latest digital marketing platforms, social media best practices and successful case stories.
Since social networking is the number one activity on the Internet and customers are already talking about the brands they use or services they pay for, businesses must tap into the power this word of mouth holds to transform their businesses and engage their customers consistently.”
This workshop, to be facilitated by experienced local industry professionals, is in four parts: Fundamentals of Web and Social Media; Understanding Social Media Platforms for Business; Creating and Broadcasting Quality Content; and Developing, Deploying and Measuring Social Media Strategies.
There will be interactive and practical sessions for participants to have deeper understanding of the core elements and functions of social media platforms.
The participants will learn: How to employ Digital Marketing tools and platforms for business; The principles and types of Social Media in comparison to traditional media; How to use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp and other platforms for your business; How to set Social Media objectives for your business; How to engage your consumers effectively on various Social Media platforms; How to create quality content and use the right contexts for sharing contents; How to develop and deploy Social Media strategies for your business; How to measure Social Media effectiveness using Analytics; How to set up Social Media departments for your business; and Best practices and over 20 successful Social Media case studies.
Social Media for Business Executives will be made very relevant to the participants because of the local market insights the facilitators will bring to bear on the contents they share and the over 20 practical case studies participants will discuss. There will be hands-on sessions for participants to have deeper understanding of the various platforms and strategies to implement to have an effective presence on social media.
